I am buying a Canon digital camera, which is the best model in the SD line? I have narrowed my digital camera purchase down to the Canon SD line. I am looking at the 850is, the 750 and the 1000. The 850 and the 750 are very close in price and the 1000 is significantly cheaper. I can't seem to find many differences between the 3 and was wondering if anyone had any experience between any of these? Thanks
What are stores on and off line that sell digital slr or advanced cameras for low prices? I always get my cameras from best buy but the selection is very small. The most advance Ive purchased was a Canon - PowerShot 6.0MP Digital Camera, but I want to go a step up and get something more avanced without bumping up the price too high. Comparision between Nikon D40 and Canon Rebel Digital Cameras? Canon powershot digital cameras? Dear friends, based on some recommendations, I was planning to buy a new digital camera Canon powershot SD600, this was almost 5 months ago and I did not buy it until now that I tried to buy it, but I found that the prices for this particular model have gone up a little a bit maybe it’s because newer models have come and many sellers do not carry this particular model anymore, does any one of you know of the newer models from Canon that has all the features of Canon powershot SD600 and can be a good or even better replacement for that? I've checked the price on the internet but I couldn't make out whether the cost of the battery and charger is extra. Will I have to pay extra money for the battery and charger? A cheap Canon Digital Camera with HD video recording? I'm thinking of upgrading my digital camera and the other day I saw that the Kodak V1253 records videos in HD but it has some negative points so I was wondering if there is a Canon (a brand which I previously had and was satisfied with) that records videos at 720. All between a reasonable price. I'm not talking about a U$500 camera. If there isn't a cheap one, then which Canon do you recommend that has good video and audio quality?
I have a Canon A85 digital camera that need repair. Is it worth repairing? The camera people said the "base price" to even think about fixing it would be $170. They also said the camera is worth about $100 (it was bought in 2004). It takes blurry pictures and the lens cover will not close. What do I do with a broken digital camera that I hate to get rid of? Canon digital mid price range but pro results? I have the lenses from my rebel slr and want to keep them to use on a NEW digital by Canon. Is Kodak and Canon cameras better than Samsung because they have been making cameras longer? My 10 yo daughter has been shopping for her first digital camera. She likes the features on one made by Samsung and it is within her price range. We were told by a sales person that Kodak or Canon cameras are better because they have been making them longer. Canon Digital Camera - A640 or G7? What are the major differences (besides price)? I can't decide between the Canon A640 or G7, although I am leaning toward the G7. Are you compact flash card (i.e... for digital cameras) savvy? I am going to purchase a new compact flash card for my Canon digital camera. I found one with 1 GB storage, and 120X (18 mbs). I found another with 2 GB, 80X (12 mbs). I am assuming mbs is the transfer rate - how many megabytes per second, how long it takes to upload the photos onto a computer. Is that correct? Does it have any effect on the quality of the picture? What about video quality? I'm drawn to the 2 GB because it will hold more and seems like a reasonable price (they are $26 and $40 respectively). And while I am here, what is the purpose of a flash card reader? How is it superior to using the camera and a cable? What does it do, and why should I buy one? Please explain in detail, in layman's terms. Thanks for your help. The card with the higher memory has the lower transfer rate... it's a trade-off. I'm wondering which is more desireable.

Is Canon powershot SD700 got replaced with Canon powershot SD800 (Digital Camera) ? I bought a camera Canon powershot SD700 2 weeks ago. Now SD800 got released. Should I retun Sd700 & buy SD800? But Canon Powershot D700 Zoom got stuck. I am planning to return that camera. I hardly used it. Even to exchange this with another one, they don't have 700 in the store. They have SD800. Advice in selecting a digital camera. canon sd790 is or sony w170? So i am looking for a nice small camera. There is no price limit. Right now i am looking at the Sony w170 an canon sd790. Do I have to have a "L" series lens for a Canon 5d digital camera? I have a chance to buy a canon 5d camera for a really inexpensive price. I already have several lenses but I don't have any "L" series lenses. I can't really afford those. Some people say the only way a 5d takes a good picture is if you have a really expensive lens. I have a EF 50mm 1:1.4, EF-S 60mm 1:2.8, macro 0.5m/1.6, and a ef 80-200mm 1:4.5-5.6 II lens. Will these work well with a Canon 5d?
