Canon Sd 950 Knowledge Base
Canon SD 950 and 870 memory questions and OT? What is the fastest memory on the market for these two cameras? What is the largest memory chips available for these cameras? Please provide link to information. Do charger stands (like an ipod has) exist for either of these two cameras? Does either camera have a silent mode so that when I take a picture, there is no noise? Are there any other accessories besides a tripod, memory card, and photo printer that you I could get for the cameras?
Canon Powershot SD 790, 870, or 950? 10mp vs. 8mp. 12mp i know that these cameras basically share all the same features, but in terms of quality and performance, which is the overall "better choice". i have heard that cameras that go as high as 12mp may actually "slightly" reduce quality or even slow down the time it takes to shoot the picture. i fairly understand all the different setting, but should the minor things help decide which camera i get, and if so, what are they? what im looking for is a fast camera with good quality, but after looking through these cameras, i just dont know! :]] and thanks for any help.. i really want to get my money's worth -______-
Should I buy a Canon SD950? I'm really like the SD950, but I'm now scared of the famous "e18" error. I know they say it's only a small percentage has the problem, but I don't know if it's worth the risk. Especially if Canon is not even going to own up to it or help me. Otherwise what would you recommend rather than the Canon SD 950? Is there a camera just as good or better right around the same price? Thank you! I have been looking myself, but I keep coming up short when it comes to finding a better one.
What is the best type of memory card to get? I have a Canon SD 950 IS digital camera. If I'm looking to spend $50 or less, what type of memory card should I get? The manual says I can get a SDHC card or a HCMMCplus card. (What's the difference? I'm assuming the multimedia one would be better for video?) Also, I'll be using the video and picture functions. thank you so much!!
canon powershot 2008??? i have a canon powershot sd 1000 and it brokedown during my trip.. i want to get a new digital camera. im thinking of buying the canon powershot sd 950 (12.1 mp camera) this week but many people are saying that this model lags. The 870 and the 850 series pretty much identical. now im confused, i dont know which one is better in performance and quality? i was wondering is canon releasing any new powershoot SD and or A series this spring or later of this year?
the canon ixus 950, ixus 80 or nikon coolpix? i'm looking for a new digital compact camera. i have used canons a lot and have narrowed my choices down to: Ixus 950 Ixus 80 or Nikon Coolpix S700 I want a camera that takes SD cards and has a good ISO range. can someone please give me some advice or suggest a different camera altogether? Which Canon IS camera? I need a new camera, and I've narrowed it down to a Canon SD880is, SD 950is, and SD1100is. I live in Italy and take both scenic photos to be printed later, but also a lot of "just for fun" pictures that often occur at nighttime or in less-than-brightly lit rooms, and I really really want a camera that performs well in low light. I hear that the 950 has better image quality but at the price of a longer lag time between photos. The 880 was recommended by the New York Times. Help!
