How can I fix my Canon Elph camera? When I try to take a picture with my Canon Digital Elph PowerShot SD1000 camera, the screen is black. The camera still flashes and takes a photo, and you see the photo after you take it. But the screen is blank as you're clicking the button so you can't see your subject. If anyone has this camera or has experience with these kind of things, please help.
How do I upload a video on youtube using a canon elph SD100 ? I've been trying to upload videos on you tube but for some reason they just won't upload. The videos are all under 10 minutes and I'm just confused as to why they are not uploading on you tube. It says it's uploading but it'll stay on the page for about an hour. Can someone please tell me what i need to change about it in order to upload the video?
Has your Canon Elph digital cameras, LCD cracked? I bought a Canon sd400, and the screen cracked in less than a month. No fault of my own, I took a few pictures, picked up the camera and the screen was cracked. Anyone else have this problem. I want to buy another one, but not if the quality is suspect. Thanks.

My Canon PowerShot SD100 Digital Elph has a jammed lens. How do I fix it? The lens, you can tell is trying to come out but it's jammed and wont come out, I really want to fix it myself because I dont have enough money to get it fixed. What should I do? Also, the screen in the back, when you point the camera at something, the image will show up, but it's waaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy blurry. What do I do for this problem?
I just bought a back up charger for my Canon SD600 Elph to take traveling in Europe. Will it work? 240 The charge says it charges on 110 to 240 V and delivers 3.4 to 7.2 (I think) V. The battery says 3.4 V and doesn't say anything about being able to be charged on a higher voltage. I sort of assume that the charger charges 3.4 V at 110power and 7.2 V on 240. Is this right? Can I get away just using an adaptor plug for the 240 plug or do I have to have a converter too? Thanks, anyone who might know. Marti C
canon elph case? the canon elphs are so tiny and fragile to falls. Is there a case I can use to give it protection. I am looking for one that I can put on while taking pictures as this is when most falls occur.

Canon Elph, best setting for sports? When I try and take pictures, the camera won't focus on one thing and I miss almost every good part of the game. When i put it on not focusing it gets blurry. whats the best setting?
Canon SD1000 ELPH (IXUS 70) vs. Fuji Finepix F20 anyone experienced both of these ones? Hi, I need a compact digital camera for me and for my mum and I narrowed down my search into two affordable compact dig. cameras: Canon SD1000 (IXUS 70) and Fuji Finepix F20 In my research on the web I've seen that Canon wasn't able perform well on low light, whereas Fuji F20 has better performance both low and high light conditions. So I'm closer to Fuji F20 right now, because its lower price and because I am going to buy one for me and one for my mum 2 cameras. Do you think it is still worth to buy 2 * SD1000's instead of 2 * Fuji F20's? I am likely to buy Fuji20. Anyone would like to convince me to buy Canon SD1000? Thanks.

Canon Powershot S 500 Digital Elph? I have a Canon Powershot S 500 Digital Elph and when i change the photo effect to black and white or sephia and i take it outside the pic is yellow or white depending on the effect. i cant see a pic of anything when i look it the screen all it is, is yellow or white and thats it. but when i take it in a dark place with one of the effects its fine. Canon Powershot Elph LCD cracks- still a problem? Last summer ('06), I bought a Powershot SD550. I loved it, abused it a little (had to get the zoom lens repaired shortly after buying it), and all of a sudden, during a period of non-use, my LCD screen cracked and died. A common problem, it appears. I'm studying abroad next semester, and my parents want to send me off with a working camera, and I simply love the pictures my Powershot took. I want another, but not if the LCD problem is still there. Anyone still noticing problems with the newer models?
My Canon Camera - Digital Elph - doesn't connect! can't upload!? I have already Installed the software, and when I plug in the USB cord to the computer and turn my camera on, the computer makes the "found new hardware" sound, but nothing will upload I have tried everything. Uploading works on other computers, and the camera goes into like 'uploading mode' but not on my own computer. whyyy!!!! can anyone help!? I don't know how to reply on this website haha, and yes I clicked on the device, it just pauses and nothing shows up... is my computer just messing with me I have Picasa as well! I love it, pretty much the best thing ever made. But it still won't upload. It's the weirdest thing. Should I uninstall the software then try?

Canon PowerShot SD600 Digital Elph--Constant red-eye? Looking at pictures today I noticed that no matter who it was, inside or out, light or dim, everyone has red-eye. I know with the various photo programs I own I can remove the red-eye, but it never seems to look authentic. Anyone have any advice about the camera settings, etc. to reduce this problem? I photograph my children the most, usually candids. Any website links are welcomed.
Does Canon make a digital elph camera that uses AA batteries?? I like the AA batteries better because I can always find more if my battery runs out. If they do not.....Which ULTRACOMPACT camera is the best that uses AA batteries? I need a very basic camera that shoots well indoors (parties, etc.).... THANKS!!!
Canon sd1100 elph (coming soon)? I want to purchase the new elph which is coming out in march. I have a slr (canon xt), but I need a small camera for the basic day to day shooting. Is it supposed to be a good model? Can anyone give me advice if this is one to buy? Or perhaps a different model is better? I am attracted to the small size because I would like to carry it with me. I have a canon powershot sd1000 digital elph........? .........and a 512mb sd card. the only problem is that it has a timer on how long it will record a video. it stops recording after 1:00 minute. is there a way to make it record longer? i even tried erasing everything in the memory but it only records for one minute.
