Canon Cameras

I have a canon elph. My photos are coming out grainy. I think i messed up the settings. Any ideas to help?

I particulary like close-ups...camera is only like 3 megapixels, but until recently my pics came out well.

1. put back resert. if you camera has IS put it on, put auto setting since you like close up try portrait or macro mode. Put flash on.
2. If you're making photos too large, as in larger than 6.4 x 8.5, you'll get grainy pics. But if you changed the ISO settings, the higher the number, the grainier. High speed modes also increase ISO, but increase grain.
3. go into menu and find the reset menu
