How would you compare the Canon Elph S500 with the Canon 2S 1S ?

- You need to find a camera comparison web site. I've asked ?'s here about cell phones & gotten so responses. I would search internet for canon camera reviews.
- Those two cameras are quite different. The SD500 (which is now 2 years old) is a very compact, point & shoot camera...small enough to fit in your bag or even pocket. The S2 IS, however...is a larger camera, so it would not be practical for all situations. It does have full manual control though, and 12x optical zoom and an image stabilizer. So, it would depend on what type of photographer you are and what situations you will want the camera for the most. I would recommend some of the newer Canon cameras though. The S3 IS, is just a small upgrade to the S2 IS...it would be a good choice if you want 6MP and a 12x zoom camera with manual options. I would prefer the...SD600 or the very stylish looking, SD700 IS...if you want an ultra compact and easy to use, point & shoot camera that you would be happy to take with you everywhere.
