Canon SD1000 ELPH (IXUS 70) vs. Fuji Finepix F20 anyone experienced both of these ones?

Hi, I need a compact digital camera for me and for my mum and I narrowed down my search into two affordable compact dig. cameras: Canon SD1000 (IXUS 70) and Fuji Finepix F20 In my research on the web I've seen that Canon wasn't able perform well on low light, whereas Fuji F20 has better performance both low and high light conditions. So I'm closer to Fuji F20 right now, because its lower price and because I am going to buy one for me and one for my mum 2 cameras. Do you think it is still worth to buy 2 * SD1000's instead of 2 * Fuji F20's? I am likely to buy Fuji20. Anyone would like to convince me to buy Canon SD1000? Thanks.
