Last summer ('06), I bought a Powershot SD550. I loved it, abused it a little (had to get the zoom lens repaired shortly after buying it), and all of a sudden, during a period of non-use, my LCD screen cracked and died. A common problem, it appears. I'm studying abroad next semester, and my parents want to send me off with a working camera, and I simply love the pictures my Powershot took. I want another, but not if the LCD problem is still there. Anyone still noticing problems with the newer models?
