My canon digital elph powershot sd450 wont turn back on its not the battery. any way to reset it? other ideas?

It wont turn back on, i opened it to replace the cracked LCD and before i could even get to taking the lcd off it powered off with the lense still out and will not turn back on or retract lense.

1. Sound like you have a E-18 or 14 error (can't remember the number) The camaera wont turn back on til the lens will retract it has dust or something wedged in the telescoping lens try cleaning it out. If that doesn't work you might want to take it to someone.
