Can anyone help me compare the Canon Powershot Elph sd800 with the sd900? Which one is better?

- I can't, but I know a man who can. www.steves-digicams.com
- There's not much question as to which on is "better," as Canon already told you. The SD900 is "900" instead of "800" and it sells for more money, although I'm surprised to see that it's only $10 more! To me, the biggest difference is the SD900's larger sensor, which is almost twice the size of the SD800's, but other strengths of the SD900 are: 10 MP instead of 7 MP Slightly longer telephoto 4 more feet or range in the on-camera flash The SD800 has image stabilization, which may be considred an advantage, but at "only" 105 mm, I don't know how much this really helps the average photographer. It's not the magic bullet that they portrayed it to be in the commercial with the jittery roller coaster ride...
- Go with the 800IS. Approx. $100 cheaper and it has image stabilization. 10MP is overkill for 98% of the population.
