Canon Cameras

I need a simplified answer to setting and adjusting my Canon Powershot SD 750 to get brighter pics on closeup.

When the zoom lens is 3X and closer and I take the pic, it comes out dark. This especially heppens indoors. What settings do I use?

  1. On your Canon Powershot SD 750, there should be a menu choice for closeups. In case you've misplaced it, here is a download of your user's manual. http://alpha03u.c-wss.com/inc/ApplServlet?SV=WWUCA900 If you're taking closeups, go to page 34 where you will find info about Magnified Close-up Shooting (Digital Macro). If you're taking pictures from a distance, and zooming in 3x, then look on page 52 for info about Exposure Compensation, which lets you lighten or darken your pictures. I hope you find this helpful.
  2. in the manual read the section on ev or exposure compensation it will give you step by step instructions
