What is the diff. between the Canon EOS 30D and Canon EOS 40D?

ok BESIDES the model #, whats the difference? Is the Canon EOS 40D a lot more advanced or are they almost the same?

3. Big Difference.. Megapixels The 40d has two more megapixels.. Screen Size The 40d has a three inch screen, with live view, and the 30d doesn't have life view, and it's only a two and a half inch screen. Price a few hundred dollars ( 40d is more expensive ) those are the main differences, oh, and the most obvious one of all, their name is different lol. The 40d is much more of a semi professional camera, with more feature and dimension then the 30d, which is a much younger model.
