Best place to buy a notebook (IBM Lenovo) and digital camera (Canon)- in Singapore or Malaysia? Exactly where?

I really like the X200 notebook that Lenovo announced recently. Looks like it will be on sale in August 2008. Does anyone know whether I should buy it in Singapore (Sim Lim? Funan?) or Malaysia (Low Yat?)? What is the approximate retail price? I'm also looking for a mid-range point-and-shoot digital camera. (a Canon? Any recommendations?) I would appreciate any ideas about the above.

2. Sim Lim has cheap goods but you need to go around and find the best deal... try 3rd to fifth floors for computers and second floor for camera's, anything on the first floor is usually a rip-off, and used to trap tourists who want to buy things quick and leave...
