I want the best digital camera in the Canon brand for a teen girl, regardless the price, the best, stylish...?

1. What are your priorities here? "the best" or "stylish"? If you need style (and I don't understand the need for that in a camera), then pick any of the cute little pink toys. If you want "the best", it needs to be a DSLR. That, however, might be a bit of an overkill for a teenaged beginner. My suggested compromise would the Canon Powershot S5 IS (link below). Many manual options, 12x optical zoom, stabilizer, flip out screen and much more. It is a very good camera that she can "grow into" while being able to take decent photos.
2. The all time winner bargain compact digital camera is the Canon 7.1 megapixel PowerShot SD1000 [not the IS] 7.1 with an added 2- gig memory card which when set in the manual mode for "Vivid" colors and videos at 30 fps in 320 dpi format provides killer images and videos under low light conditions.
