what memory card is compatible with the canon eos 450d?

I'm getting the canon eos 450D this week, and i was just wondering what the best memory card to buy for it is. it's a 12mp dslr, so I'm guessing i need a fairly big amount of space? any advice would be appreciated :)

1. Any SD card, including SDHC cards will be compatible. 8GB is the best value at the moment and It's more than big enough if you're shooting JPEG. If you're shooting RAW you might want to buy a couple. You should try to get one that is class 6 or at least class 4. Look for a little circle with a number in the middle on the card, this is the class rating. A slow card will slow your camera down.
