What is the best SD Memory Card for a Canon Rebel XSi?
I'm upgrading from a Canon Rebel, which uses Compact Flash. It's a bummer since I have like 16gb in memory cards for it, so I'm going to have to buy SD cards. I read somewhere that the XSi will only take up to 4gb memory cards - is this true? And although I won't be shooting 3.5fps all the time, sometimes I will be for weddings and really important shoots. Therefore, I am looking for writing speed and the highest available capacity. I shoot mainly JPEG. Thanks!

- The XSi will take any size SDHC card. Sandisk Extreme III is a good card. The speed class (6 is the fastest) is supposed to indicate how fast you can write to the card, but this test found that some cheap class 6 cards were outperformed by better quality class 4s : http://codepoet5150.wordpress.com/2008/08/20/sdhc-memory-card-tests-with-my-canon-xsi/
- A quality, fast card. Avoid generics (like the OfficeDepot brand) - these are SLOW. Remember, it's not just shooting - it's transferring to your computer when you are done!
- Here's another vote for SanDisk. Plus, with the Extreme cards you get RescuePRO software (a mini disk).
