  1. Get a Nikon, forget about Sony, Canons are nice
  2. Canon
  3. i have a sony i love mine do you want to get pic. on you'r p/c i like my sony
  4. I prefer Canon. Although it's old, I own a Canon A80. It has a rotating LCD, which comes in tremendously handy. Also, it comes with handy features. One feature that I use in particular is the ability to go from automatic to manual. It cost me $400 at the time.
  5. Go with Canon
  6. from exp..sony is selling its name only... becoz after few yrs its deteriorate...buy canon or olympus better..
  7. Check out dpreviews and Steve's digicams for reviews. For me the choice between Sony and Canon or Nikon for that matter is question of memory format and Lens Quality. Sony uses proprietary memory format called "memory stick" which is more expense then standard memory cards. There are generics out there but I can find a 2gb memory card for $60.... For my money I stick with Canon and Nikon because the consistent overall quality of the Lens they produce. Nikon D50 with 18mm-70mm lens is a great performer and well priced for the enthusiast market. (it should be well under 700USD). Finally, a camera is alot about you. You try dSLR before you buy it. Hold it and carry it they way you would if you were traveling or using it at Soccer Game. If you hate they way it feels you will never use it. This is why I went with a Nikon D70s. I like the weight of the camera. It felt like a real camera to me. You opinion counts.... Best Wishes
