I'm thinking of buying a canon digital camera.I like the SX100 IS model .What r your views??

I like the SX100 IS because there are many manual features like controlling shutter speed & many more.It is a 8. mp camera with 10X optical zoom .Do u guys think its good.Canon products are known for their quality.I want ur detailed views.... thanking you !!! Plzz give me details. &&& ONE MORE THING. What is the latest non-creditcard price at which it is available in India in Rupees.
